Winter Basketball 2026

KINDERGARTEN LEAGUE - Now open!

• January & February 2026
• Saturday mornings, 9:00-10:00 a.m. or 10:00-11:00 a.m. (depending on the number of teams)
• Sheridan Elementary School gym

Details:

• Players will be split into teams prior to the first day of the league and they will all receive a shirt matching their team's color.
• First 40 minutes = instruction/fundamental development
• Last 20 minutes = game play (2, 10 min. halves will be played for each game)
• Players will be wearing wrist bands during the game to assist with knowing who they are guarding.
• Goals - 8 feet
• Basketball - 27.5” size
• The elementary gym will be split into two courts to allow two games to occur at the same time.
• There will be no refs or scoreboards during the games as coaches will be very hands on in assisting the players with their development.
