SOFTBALL 2025 INFORMATION
Alliance (Rec+ / Sunday Showcase) and All-Stars:
Alliance and All-Stars provide a higher level of competition to players. Both will be offered for 8u-14u based on interest and skill level. Players that play Alliance are not required or guaranteed to play All Stars (and vice-versa).
Spring Alliance offers have been sent to players.
A separate evaluation will be held later in the season to allow for player development, to determine Summer All-Star and Fall Alliance teams. Costs will also be determined at that time. The tournament cost for All-Stars can be expensive (average $200-$400 per team per tournament), but SCRI is normally able to cover most of these costs with sponsorships. Transportation is required.
All-Star tournaments start in June and SCRI will support 1-2 tournaments before July 6. Note: This cut off allows for player involvment in 4-H and other summer activities prior to the start of the school year.
Fall Alliance an abbreviated Fall Alliance season will be offered this year (approx 4 Sundays Sept-Oct). Dates TBD in late July and will scheduled as best as possible around other fall SCRI sports.
Fall Softball:
SCRI will not be forming a Sheridan team through the Noblesville league this year. However, the Noblesville league is open to any Hamilton County resident; interested players may sign up directly https://www.noblesvillesoftball.com/.

PLEASE NOTE - League Age Eligibility Rule Changes Were Made
Several major softball sanctioning bodies have made the decision to change their league-age eligibility months, primarily affecting birthdates in July, August, September, October, November, and December.
These organizations are USA Softball, USSSA, PGF, USFA and now Babe Ruth Softball
- As an easy reference, a players age on 8/31/25 will determine the division she qualifies to play in for the Spring 26 season.
Please see the new rules below to see if it affects your players. Thank you!
