Volleyball 2024

In- House Volleyball

-Introduce the sport of volleyball and basic skill sets

-Net will be lowered to a 10/11's level of play and they will use a Volleylite ball.

-Games will be held with other teams within the SCRI in-house program.

-Season: 8/12-10/10

-Practices/Games: 2 Practices a week, once games start may be 1 practice and 1 game per week.

-Location: All practices and games will take place at Blackhawk Commons

Monon Select/Travel Volleyball

-For youth players that have had the basic skill set instruction and are ready for more advanced training and game play.

-Net will be at a 10/11's level height and we will use a Volleylite ball.

-We will be having evaluations for those that wish to play on the Monon Select league. We will only be taking 2 teams, one for each age group.

Evaluation Date: 7/29 @ Blackhawk Commons, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

-Season: 8/5/-10/10

-Practices/Games: 2 Practices a week, tournament play on every Saturday in the month of Sept at Monon Select Volleyball Club. Usually 2-3 games a tournament. Will also play a few games at Blackhawk commons against in- house teams.

-Location: All practices at Blackhawk Commons, Tournaments at Monon Select Volleyball Club

If your child is in additional activities this time of year, please let us know. We will do the best to work with other SCRI program schedules, but this information is important for planning.
